Pride. Have you guys actually thought that pride would actually ruin us one day? Our relationship, kinship, friendship. It's true that everyone got their pride up and for me, pride is actually very important. Sometimes I rather got my pride then to give in to my boyfriend when we quarrel. Well it's common. Everyone wants to look like a winner and be a winner. Everyone wants to prove to the world that they got their rights, and they will do things they want to, even if some people tries to stop. Sometimes when you actually quarrels with someone, have you ever thought of giving in, saying sorry, but at the end, you thought, " Why should I give in? Why can't he/she give in? " Normally you won't realize that your pride is there. I guess you knows that everytime a quarrel had started, both parties wouldn't think they're actually in the wrong. So naturally, they would have wait for each other to start to give in. If not, they wouldn't even talk. I thought to myself, Is who giving in first that important? Or the one that really matters is the relationship between you both? My boyfriend always say I always chose pride over him. Because most of the time he is the one giving in. And everytime he says that, I have no answer because I can't deny. My pride is always the wall there. And sometimes it really drifts us apart. So.. why not just give in for once?
