" A beautiful girl. An evil man. "
This story is basically about a girl named Katie Piper, at the age of 24 years old, she was still leading a perfect live. She's a model and a tv presenter. And her looks mesmerize almost every guy. But she met one guy online, and that probably changed her everything. She was raped by that guy she met at facebook, and she was attacked afterwards. Not being beaten up. but that guy named Danny, hired a guy to throw acid at her face. Which ruined her looks, her life. But she was still brave enough, to face it all. She had to went to court with her gross looks as what she think, and she had to be questioned and questioned about how was she being raped and she was being doubt. But, who would have ever tolerate all these shit? She. She was the brave one who could still face everything and fight for her lost looks. It's a true story. So, I shall show you some picture of it. It might seems disgusting but, I really admire her.
So on the left, it was her, before she got attacked. And obviously the right one, was after she got attacked. You could actually see the huge different. And the right image, was actually after her surgery. But apparently, it still seems bad. Her flawless skin in the past, and it ended up like rotten. How bad could the guy be? But she didn't give up though during that moment she really felt like dying. On her birthday, her mummy invited Katie's friend to their house for a little party. Katie was worried about how the fuck can she actually face her friends in such state as not every of her friend know what happened to her. She told her mummy that she can't do it. She can't face them. But her friends didn't look at her in disgust, instead, they ran up to her and hugged her. She smiled a hopeful smile. So, with the strength to carry on, she decided to share her experience with those patients who was also burned by acid or fire. And decided to help them pull themselves up. So, despite of her looks, she still lead a happy life.
See, she actually built a foundation and tries to help whatever she can. Her skin actually got better as she daily went for some surgery or some kinda thing but the scars actually remains.
Yes! She got the bravery award. And I think she really deserves it because she was really brave. She's just in her mid-twenty's and she had to go through all these. If it was me, I rather die. I would cry all day and hide at home. But she's totally an example set for us, to actually stay optimistic no matter what happens. Because it might be stormy now. But it won't rain forever. Am I right?
You know the deal, you can only trust yourself.
